Hi! Para quem não sabe, eu sou uma ávida coleccionadora de cactos e suculentas. Tenho quase trinta aqui em casa e o número continuar a aumentar! Já queria fazer este DIY há imenso tempo e por isso decidi partilhar por aqui também. Consiste apenas em atar cordas em volta de um vaso para depois o pendurar! Super prático para quem tem aquelas plantas que descaem, tipo esta minha suculenta! Também fica super giro como decoração, agora como ando a redecorar a minha casa estou sempre à procura de ideias baratas e giras! E este DIY é mesmo super simples!

Hi! In case you didn't know, I'm an avid collector of cacti and succulents. I own almost thirty and the number keeps increasing! I already wanted to do this DIY for a long time and so I decided to share it here too. It just consists of tying ropes around a flowerpot and then hanging it! Super practical for those who have plants that fall, like this succulent of mine! Also it's super cute as decoration as well. Since I'm redecorating my house I'm always looking for cheap and cute ideas! And this DIY is really super simple!

 1  Comecem por cortar 8 tiras de corda iguais do comprimento que quiserem (depende da altura que querem pendurar o vaso), não se esqueçam que precisam de tamanho extra para atar nas pontas!

 2  Depois dêem um nó numa das pontas e posicionem no centro na parte de baixo do vaso.

 3  Separem as cordas em pares e depois distribuam em quatro partes, colem essas partes com fita-cola ao vaso pois facilita muito mais o processo! 

 4  Dêem nós nessas quatro partes de forma a que o nó saia ligeiramente da extremidade do vaso.

 1  Begin by cutting 8 strings of rope as long as you want (depending on the height you want to hang the pot), don't forget that you'll need extra rope to tie at the ends!

 2  Then tie a knot at one end and position it in the center at the bottom of the flowerpot.

 3  Separate the strings in pairs and then distribute them in four parts, fix these parts with tape to the flowerpot, making the process much easier!

 4  Tie knots in these four parts so that the knot comes out slightly of the end of the pot.

 5  Depois de darem os primeiros nós, separem as cordas dos pares e façam outros nós mais abaixo.

 6  Repitam este processo até chegarem ao topo do vaso, sempre com ajuda da fita-cola.

 7  Depois é só puxar as cordas para cima e, de forma a ficarem direitas, atarem num nó.

 8  Para finalizar, retirar a fita-cola e colocar a planta! Não se esqueçam de colocar pedras no fundo para escoar a água visto que convém o vaso não ter buracos para facilitar na rega, eu não tinha por isso não coloquei a minha planta e deixei-a no vaso de origem.

 5  After making the first knots, separate the strings from the pairs and make other knots below.

 6  Repeat this process until you reach the top of the vase, always with the help of the adhesive tape.

 7  Then just pull the strings up and in order to stay straight and tie in a knot.

 8  To finish, remove the tape and place the plant inside! Don't forget to put stones in the bottom to drain the water since it's easier to water the plant if the pot has no holes in it. I didn't have stones so I didn't repoted my plant so I left it in the original pot.
