Hey! Estou de volta ao blog! Não avisei por aqui, mas quem me segue no Instagram sabe que tive estas últimas semanas de férias! Regressei ao Furadouro, já tinha estado por lá no ano passado. É super fixe o meu namorado ter família de lá, fomos muito bem recebidos e mimados! Ainda tentei fazer um vlog mas precisava de aproveitar ao máximo estes dias de descanso antes de começar a trabalhar! Levei roupa mais prática e confortável mas consegui fotografar dois outfits que devo partilhar em breve por aqui!

Hey! I'm back to the blog! I didn't told you here, but whoever follows me on the Instagram knows that I've been on vacation these last weeks! I returned to Furadouro (a small village by the sea in the north of Portugal), I had already been there in the last year. It's super cool that my boyfriend has family there, we felt very welcomed there! I still tried to make a vlog but I needed to make the most of these days and rest before I started working! I picked more practical and comfortable clothes but I managed to photograph two outfits that I will share soon on the blog!

Os meus dias resumiram-se a muita praia, muitos doces e muitos passeios ao pôr-do-sol! E ainda pude aproveitar para jogar os meus novos jogos! Sim, levei o meu fiel computador comigo mas não tinha boa Internet e era um bocado frustrante, então preferi não publicar nada no blog, sorry! Tirando esses dias mais tranquilos, visitámos uma estufa enorme que era um autêntico succulent heaven! Mesmo assim acabou depressa, mas é sempre bom regressar a casa! E vocês, o que fizeram durante as vossas férias?

My days were basically going to the beach, eating lots of sweets and lots of strolls on the sunset! And I also spent a little time playing my new games! Yes, I took my loyal computer with me but I didn't have good Internet and it was a bit frustrating, so I preferred not to publish anything on the blog, sorry! Apart from these uneventful days, we visited a huge greenhouse that was an authentic succulent heaven! Even so, my vacations were over too soon, but it's always good to come back home! And you, what did you do during your vacations this year?

Hi! Para quem não sabe, eu sou uma ávida coleccionadora de cactos e suculentas. Tenho quase trinta aqui em casa e o número continuar a aumentar! Já queria fazer este DIY há imenso tempo e por isso decidi partilhar por aqui também. Consiste apenas em atar cordas em volta de um vaso para depois o pendurar! Super prático para quem tem aquelas plantas que descaem, tipo esta minha suculenta! Também fica super giro como decoração, agora como ando a redecorar a minha casa estou sempre à procura de ideias baratas e giras! E este DIY é mesmo super simples!

Hi! In case you didn't know, I'm an avid collector of cacti and succulents. I own almost thirty and the number keeps increasing! I already wanted to do this DIY for a long time and so I decided to share it here too. It just consists of tying ropes around a flowerpot and then hanging it! Super practical for those who have plants that fall, like this succulent of mine! Also it's super cute as decoration as well. Since I'm redecorating my house I'm always looking for cheap and cute ideas! And this DIY is really super simple!

YOU ARE GOING TO NEED:

Adhesive tape

Rope

Scissors

Pot

Plant

1 Comecem por cortar 8 tiras de corda iguais do comprimento que quiserem (depende da altura que querem pendurar o vaso), não se esqueçam que precisam de tamanho extra para atar nas pontas!

2 Depois dêem um nó numa das pontas e posicionem no centro na parte de baixo do vaso.

3 Separem as cordas em pares e depois distribuam em quatro partes, colem essas partes com fita-cola ao vaso pois facilita muito mais o processo!

4 Dêem nós nessas quatro partes de forma a que o nó saia ligeiramente da extremidade do vaso.

1 Begin by cutting 8 strings of rope as long as you want (depending on the height you want to hang the pot), don't forget that you'll need extra rope to tie at the ends!

2 Then tie a knot at one end and position it in the center at the bottom of the flowerpot.

3 Separate the strings in pairs and then distribute them in four parts, fix these parts with tape to the flowerpot, making the process much easier!

4 Tie knots in these four parts so that the knot comes out slightly of the end of the pot.

5 Depois de darem os primeiros nós, separem as cordas dos pares e façam outros nós mais abaixo.

6 Repitam este processo até chegarem ao topo do vaso, sempre com ajuda da fita-cola.

7 Depois é só puxar as cordas para cima e, de forma a ficarem direitas, atarem num nó.

8 Para finalizar, retirar a fita-cola e colocar a planta! Não se esqueçam de colocar pedras no fundo para escoar a água visto que convém o vaso não ter buracos para facilitar na rega, eu não tinha por isso não coloquei a minha planta e deixei-a no vaso de origem.

5 After making the first knots, separate the strings from the pairs and make other knots below.

6 Repeat this process until you reach the top of the vase, always with the help of the adhesive tape.

7 Then just pull the strings up and in order to stay straight and tie in a knot.

8 To finish, remove the tape and place the plant inside! Don't forget to put stones in the bottom to drain the water since it's easier to water the plant if the pot has no holes in it. I didn't have stones so I didn't repoted my plant so I left it in the original pot.

E este é o resultado final! Adoro o aspecto rústico e só faltava mesmo ter um vaso de cerâmica (infelizmente não encontrei nenhum na área onde vivo)! Agora só me falta mesmo encontrar um sítio para pendurar. Espero que tenham gostado e digam-me se reproduzirem este DIY ou se já conheciam e experimentaram! Também adorava saber quem mais colecciona plantas como eu!

And this is the end result! I love the rustic look. I wish I had a ceramic pot insted (unfortunately I din't find any in the area I live)! Now I just have to find a place to hang it. Estes outfits são algo que usaria para ir para a escola, sem dúvida (excepto as malas porque quando estava a estudar tinha que levar mochila com o computador). Apesar de adorar fast fashion (porque é a única que consigo suportar neste momento), tenho sempre a consciência de conjugar com muitas peças em segunda mão! These outfits are something I would wear for school (except for the mini bags because when I was studying I had to take a backpack with my computer on it). Although I love fast fashion (because it's the only I can support at the moment) I always have the conscience to combine my outfits with many thrifted pieces! Well, this is one of the themes I want to talk about on Youtube, besides I have a collection of second-hand pieces that I would love to share with you! Hello! Acho que já deu para perceber que eu adoro cabelo colorido! Gosto tanto que estou constantemente a mudar de cor. Eu não tenho receio em arriscar, mas devo confessar que passar pelo processo de descoloração e pintura sempre que quero mudar de cor é bastante exaustivo, para além de danificar o cabelo! A solução mais prática são mesmo as perucas pois fornecem uma solução rápida e não permanente a quem quer mudar de visual! Hey hey! É verdade, estou de volta ao Youtube! Regressar ao canal era algo que já queria há imenso tempo e finalmente ganhei coragem, depois de muitos vídeos gravados e descartados ao longo destes anos, consegui sentir-me confortável o suficiente para publicar este! I also decided to shoot an outfit with the new pieces I bought. Can you believe this complete outfit cost only €14? I really hope you like it! In case you watch the video, I just want to say that I'm still experimenting with the editing ans I also recorded without a microphone to try it out. Not to mention I'm still super awkward talking to the camera ahah! But oh well, I have to start recording more to stop being shy, right? Today I share my two favorite palettes!

Ambas são da Makeup Revolution ou Revolution. Todos os produtos da marca são 100% cruelty free e a maior parte deles não têm ingredientes de origem animal. Mas o melhor é mesmo a relação qualidade/preço! Se estão familiarizados com a marca sabem que a podem encontrar, por exemplo, no site da Maquibeauty ou nas lojas Wells. Mas aconselho vivamente a visitarem o próprio site da Revolution pois tem um separador que diz vegan, o que facilita na pesquisa por produtos.

Both are from Makeup Revolution or Revolution. All the products of the brand are 100% cruelty free and most of them do not have ingredients of animal origin. But the best is even the quality / price ratio! I strongly advise you to visit Revolution website because it has a tab that says vegan, which makes it easy to search for, well, vegan products.

Pois é, quem nunca se babou pelas famosas paletas da Urban Decay? Esta paleta é só o melhor dupe da Naked 3! Chama-se Revolution Iconic 3 e custa apenas 4,99€. Não sou nenhuma expert em maquilhagem, mas posso dizer que as sombras têm uma qualidade incrível e existem imensos vídeos de pessoas a compararem esta paleta com a original e as diferenças passam quase despercebidas!

I'm not a makeup expert, but I can tell you that the eyeshadows have incredible quality and there are lots of videos of people comparing this palette with the original and the differences go almost unnoticed!

Hiya! Ainda não me acostumei a fotografar nesta zona. Estudei durante quatro anos no Alentejo. Voltar a morar no litoral, ainda por cima na casa onde vivi quando era criança, é no mínimo estranho. Ainda não me habituei à ideia que é aqui que eu moro agora, sozinha. Eu não me sentia preparada para esta mudança, mas não me foi dada outra hipótese! Já houve uma altura em que não tinha para onde ir, mas hoje sinto-me agradecida por ter tido esta oportunidade! Estou aprender lentamente a focar-me nas coisas boas que me acontecem e a deixar de dar tanta importância às más.

Hiya! I'm not used to photographing in this area yet. I studied for four years in the interior area of my country. Going back living on the coast, in the house where I lived as a child is at least strange. I still haven't got used to the idea that this is where I live now, alone. A SALA

Eu adoro ver os tons neutros (preto, branco e cinza) com as madeiras e o verde das plantas. Queria então aproveitar o verde dos meus sofás e forrar com cobertores cinzentos, adicionar mais almofadas e comprar uns vasos giros para as minhas plantas. A madeira que tenho na sala é mais alaranjada, mas acho que consigo conjugar bem! Como a minha sala estava muito vazia, decidi criar uma área de escritório como podem ver na primeira foto.

THE LIVING ROOM

I love seeing the neutral tones (black, white and gray) with the wood details and the greens from the plants. I wanted to take advantage of my green sofas and cover them with gray blankets, add more cushions and buy some vases for my plants. The wood I have in the living room is more orange, but I think I can manage well! Also my living room was very empty so I decided to create an office area as you can see in the first photo.

A COZINHA

A cozinha é um projecto para o futuro. Novamente os pretos, brancos e as madeiras. A minha cozinha tem chão cinza e bancadas brancas com granito cinzento, o que não foge assim tanto ao meu ideal. Para já não dá para grandes remodelações mas adorava adicionar estantes e prateleiras para as plantas!

THE KITCHEN

The kitchen is a project for the future. Again with the black, white and wood. My kitchen has a gray floor and white benches with gray granite, which is not far from my ideal. I'm not doing a big remodeling but I would love to add some shelves for my plants!

O QUARTO

Já viram alguns detalhes do meu quarto no post anterior, para esta divisão quero manter as coisas simples. O meu quarto é grande e tem espaço para adicionar mais uma secretária para se tornar na minha área de trabalho. Ando a namorar esta cadeira há imenso tempo! Para combinar queria adquirir uma secretária de tampo branco assente em cavaletes pretos, e não é que encontrei essa mesma combinação cadeira/secretária numa foto no Instagram? Uma cómoda também é obrigatória e urgente, preciso de mais espaço de arrumação.

THE BEDROOM

Ypu have already seen some details of my room in the previous post, for this division I want to keep things simple. My room is large and has space to add another desk to become my work area. I've been in love with this chair for a long time! To match I wanted to get a white-top desk set on black trestles, can you believe that I found the same chair/desk combination on an Instagram picture? A dresser is also mandatory and urgent, I need more storage space.

Mais uma cozinha e um detalhe de uma casa de banho. Infelizmente a minha casa de banho não tem janela e por isso plantas verdadeiras estão fora de questão. De qualquer forma adoro o espelho redondo e a grade na parede!

Another kitchen and a bathroom detail. Unfortunately my bathroom has no window so real plants are out of the question. Anyway I love the round mirror and the grid on the wall!

Hello! Iniciei um novo capitulo da minha vida. O regresso a casa depois de terminar a minha licenciatura em Design e Animação Multimédia! Apesar de já ter tido a experiência de viver sozinha enquanto estava a tirar o curso, desta vez é diferente pois mudei-me oficialmente para a minha própria casa! Basicamente era da minha mãe e eu vivi nela quando era pequena, mas há dois anos atrás a escritura passou para meu nome, tornando-me proprietária e responsável pela casa. Claro que nunca lhe dei atenção pois estava a estudar e só vinha cá nas férias. Ainda tinha coisas em caixotes haha! Agora tive a arrumar tudo e estou pronta para embarcar nesta nova aventura!

Hello! I started a new chapter of my life. Returning home after finishing my degree in Design and Multimedia Animation! Although I already had the experience of living alone while I was taking the course, this time is different because I officially moved to my own home! It was basically my mother's house and I lived in it when I was little, but two years ago I became the oficially owner and responsible for the house. Of course I never paid much attention to it because I was studying, I only came here on vacation. I still had stuff in boxes haha!
